Blandine Poidevin

Holder of a specialization certificate in Information Technologies and communications from the National Council of the Bar. Holder also of a Master’s in Corporate law and a University degree in intellectual property and new technologies, Blandine POIDEVIN was sworn in 1996 and created the JURISEXPERT law firm in 1997.

Because she is particularly interested in innovation, she positioned her activities, from the time the firm was created, on the area of technology law. As such, she handled the earliest disputes dealing with issues of liability on the Internet.

This activity led her to work on a daily basis in particular on concepts such as copyright, e-commerce, and data privacy.

Drafting contracts that are sometimes innovative in the field also represents an important part of her activity. She devotes her efforts to business creation by helping many start-ups or spin-offs, either directly or through the use of incubation structures.

Her assignments mean that she has to travel in France and abroad on behalf of her clients.

Blandine POIDEVIN is a member of a number of professional associations, including, the AFDIT, the ACSEL, the AIJA, and CLUSIF and she also works as a third-party advisor to the CMAP.

Blandine POIDEVIN also teaches technology law, e-commerce law, personal data and intellectual property law at the University of LILLE II in the Master’s II Program in intellectual property law and the Master’s II program in Legal and Computer Security in digital companies, as well as at various schools such as the EDHEC, SKEMA, HEI, and she works for various professional training organizations like the COMUNDI. In addition, she regularly appears at a variety of conferences and association meetings, both in France and abroad.

Blandine POIDEVIN is also author or co-author of numerous articles published in legal review and legal and current events websites.

She is the editor of eight chapters in the “Internet and Law” Guide (published by Editions Législatives) and she also co-authored with Viviane GELLES the “Legal and Practical Guide for Sports Professionals” (published by Editions Territorial) and various articles appearing in the newspaper “LA GAZETTE NORD PAS-DE-CALAIS” under the sections “New Technologies” and “Sport’s Law”.

Every year, she is the advisor on one or two Master’s II student theses surrounding the issue of technology law.
